WWE Smackdown Results (5/7/2015)

Another WWE-style contract-signing took place at this week's edition of SmackDown, with the four combatants in the WWE World Heavyweight Title Fatal Four-way Match at Payback.

In the ring, Jerry "The King" Lawler opened the show. He was interrupted by another king, however. King Bad News Barrett looked to attack Lawler, until Dolph Zigger came out in time for SmackDown's opening match.

1. Dolph Ziggler defeated King Bad News Barrett via disqualification
- Sheamus interfered as Ziggler went for a pin, causing the DQ
- Barrett and Sheamus double-teamed Ziggler until Neville made the save
- A tag team match soon followed, playa!

2. Dolph Ziggler and Neville def. King Bad News Barrett and Sheamus
- Ziggler pinned Barrett after a Zig Zag

3. Luke Harper def. Fandango via a clothesline
- After the match, former Wyatt Family brethren Erick Rowan came into the ring... and attacked Fandango!

In the ring, Lana cut a promo, asking for the fans not to cheer for her. Of course, they do the opposite. Rusev then comes out and sent Lana to the back. He then proclaimed that he will make John Cena say "I Quit" at Payback.

4. Six-Man Tag Team Match: The New Day (Xavier Woods and WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Big E) def. Cesaro, Tyson Kidd, and Ryback
- Kingston pinned Kidd via a roll-up
- Ryback was Cesaro and Kidd's mystery tag team partner for the match

5. Naomi (w/ Tamina) def. Emma
- After the match, Naomi and Tamina attacked Emma

6. The Lucha Dragons (Kalisto and Sin Cara) def. Los Matadores (Diego and Fernando) (w/ El Torito)

In the ring, the contract signing for the Payback main event got underway. Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, and Dean Ambrose signed the contract without incident, but not WWE World Champion Seth Rollins, who tried to stay away from the ring and have Kane sign it on his behalf.

However, Kane pointed out what Rollins said earlier in the night—that Kane was "obsolete and irrelevant"—and sarcastically said that he would be glad to sign the contract.

Outsmarted, Rollins finally went to the ring, signed the contract... then chaos ensued.

In the end, the WWE World Champion was the last man standing.
