Fitness Challenges and Toycon Action: PWR's Busy Father's Day Weekend

Philippine Wrestling Revolution had a busy Father's Day weekend. The only independent local wrestling federation was present at Mellow 94.7's Fitness Party at Fitness First Platinum Trinoma on Saturday, June 20.

PWR Champion "Classical" Bryan Leo, Royal Flush's "Perfect Ten" Main Maxx, Filipino-American superstar Chris Panzer, "The Social Media Sinister" Ken Warren, and Dual Shock's Peter Versoza joined the Mellow 94.7 DJs in working out with their listeners at the event.

The PWR stars were also the main attractions at the event, as listeners and personal trainers challenged them in various workout contests for prizes.

The highlight of the day was the longest plank challenge, in which a contestant must outlast Chris Panzer in a plank position to win a prize. Panzer outlasted his opponent, maintaining his plank for an astounding five minutes and 56 seconds!

The following day, PWR was at Toycon 2015 at SM Megamall's Megatrade Hall 3. PWR General Manager Stan Sy addressed the crowd and introduced PWR to audience members who have heard about the promotion for the first time.

Following his address, Mr. Sy played a highlight video from PWR Vendetta last February, which featured clips of the All Out War between the team of Mayhem Brannigan and the Apocalypse and the Royal Flush's Bryan Leo and Main Maxx.

After the highlight video, Filipino-Japanese sensation Ralph Imabayashi and "The Bitch Killer" Bombay Suarez went up the stage to address the crowd, only to be hit by Ken Warren and Royal Flush member John Sebastian with a sneak attack. Imabayashi was thrown all around the stage by Warren, while Sebastian hit Suarez with a vertical suplex on the floor, which shocked the Toycon audience.

Sebastian and Warren then grabbed the mics and cut a promo on the crowd, baiting them into a group selfie, only to go back on it and berated the fans in attendance even more. The segment closed with Sebastian and Warren begrudgingly telling the audience to follow PWR on social media.

Moments after the segment ended, fans approached the PWR stars for an impromptu meet and greet.

One month since their biggest show to date at Wrevolution X, PWR has continued to make an impact on the local wrestling community, solidifying its place as the country's premier independent wrestling promotion. Wrestling fans in the Philippines can be rest assured that PWR will continue to be the go-to federation for the best pro wrestling talent this country has to offer. Stay tuned for updates on the next PWR show this August!
