#ThrowbackThursday: How You Doin', Rusev?

NXT's resident Smacktalker Skywalker, certified G and bonafide stud Enzo Amore had this to say about Rusev's lower leg injury:

Yes, that happened. Once upon a time, Enzo Amore told Rusev to wear some shoes:

It's easy to forget that Rusev actually spent time in WWE's developmental brand. The Super-Athlete appeared on NXT from May 2013 up until July 2014, just a little over a year. In that span of time, he had one memorable feud, teaming up with his manager Sylvester Lefort and Scott Dawson to take on Enzo Amore and Big Cass. After that, Rusev ditched the Frenchman and introduced Lana as his social ambassador, and the rest is history.

Amore and Cassady, on the other hand, have been a team in NXT since 2013. They've been polishing their in-ring skills there, and we've seen some improvement on that end (especially Enzo). One thing they have going for them, however, is their ability to cut a good promo. They've been amazing on the microphone ever since, and this video shows why. It's this trait that lets Enzo and Cass connect well with the crowd at Full Sail, and in due time they'll be able to connect with live audiences at RAW and SmackDown. And you can't. teach. that.

So there you go, Rusev. Next time, if you don't want to get hurt, wear some shoes. Unfortunately, that won't mend your broken heart.
