WWE NXT Results (6/24/15)

The #1 contender to the NXT Title, Finn Bálor, faced Rhyno once again this week. This time, NXT Champion Kevin Owens was on hand to watch it.

WWE COO Triple H and all the NXT stars were shown on the entrance stage, as they paid tribute to "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. It was followed by a ten-bell salute.

NXT then kicked off with an interview with Hideo Itami in the ring. Itami said he couldn't wait to get back in the ring as soon as he recovers from his arm injury, and he vowed to challenge the NXT Champion.

On cue, NXT Champion Kevin Owens headed to the ring. He threatened to hurt the injured Itami, prompting the #1 contender Finn Bálor to make the save. However, Rhyno also made his presence felt and attacked Bálor.

1. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady defeated Jason Jordan and Sylvester Lefort
- Amore pinned Jordan via a roll-up

Backstage, Samoa Joe was interviewed about Kevin Owens.

2. Dana Brooke def. Cassie via a Death Valley Driver

Backstage, Charlotte was interviewed about Dana Brooke.

Then, Part II of the video package on Finn Bálor was played. It featured Sami Zayn, Jason Albert/Matt Bloom, and Becky Lynch. Balor also discussed his NJPW run.

3. Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley def. Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton
- Dawkins was pinned after a Doomsday Rough Ryder by Ryder and Rawler

At the NXT GM's office, Eva Marie was shown talking to William Regal.

4. Finn Balor def. Rhyno via a Coup de Grace
- NXT Champion Kevin Owens was on the NXT announcers' booth during the match
- After the match, Owens then Rhyno beat up Bálor until Samoa Joe made the save. Owens and Rhyno retreated.
