WWE SmackDown Results (6/4/15)

Title contenders were on fire last Thursday on SmackDown, from Dean Ambrose looking to officially bring home the WWE World Title, to Paige vowing to change the Divas Division, to tag team becoming the new #1 contenders to the WWE Tag Team Titles.

Seth Rollins (sans his WWE World Title) started SmackDown at the center of the ring, sitting on a steel chair, a throwback to his betrayal of The Shield a year ago. He then recalled his time with the Authority, winning the Money in the Bank contract and later the WWE World Title at WrestleMania 31. He then argued that even without the physical title, he's the best World Champion of all time.

Dean Ambrose appeared on the TitanTron to interrupt Rollins' speech. He promised that he would walk in of the Money in the Bank PPV with the WWE Title, and will walk out with it, too.

1. WWE Tag Team Title #1 Contender's Triple Threat Match: The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) defeated The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) and The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto)
- O'Neil pinned Viktor after a pumphandle slam

2. Intercontinental Champion Ryback def. Stardust via a Shellshocked in a non-title match

Paige was interviewed on the entrance stage. Recalling the "twin magic" the Bella Twins did on RAW last Monday, Paige vowed to change the Divas Division.

3. NXT Championship Open Challenge: Kevin Owens def. Zack Ryder via a pop-up powerbomb to retain his title

4. Neville def. Kofi Kingston

In the ring, The Miz hosted another edition of MizTV. This time, his guest was Lana. Rusev later came out in crutches, and begged Lana once more to return to him. Finally, Dolph Ziggler went out and fetched Lana from the ring.

5. Roman Reigns def. Sheamus via DQ
- Kane interfered in the match by hitting a big boot on Reigns, thus causing the DQ
- After the match, Kane surprisingly chokeslammed Sheamus... and announced that he's the 7th man in the MITB Ladder Match! He then chokeslammed Reigns to end the show.
