The Grapevine (7/27/15): Rock 'n' Wrestling Is Gone, Too

Good morning, everyone! Welcome to the Grapevine, and for those who need to catch up, here's today's round-up of the (technically unconfirmed) dirt and rumors from the cartoon world of pro wrestling that you may have missed from the day before.

We're still sifting through some of the Hogan fallout:

  • Episodes of Rock 'n' Wrestling were removed from the WWE Network, but his matches are still up. The company is still deciding what stays and what goes.

We say: We really think there's something more to this story, but whatever that is hasn't been broken yet. While it's a shame that even cartoon Hogan was axed, it's somewhat unusual to leave his matches up, considering the lengths they've gone to remove him from the company.

  • Destination America is dropping the 8 pm airing of Ring of Honor from its schedule. ROH will still have its 11 pm airing.

We say: That doesn't sound good. ROH on Destination America, while still delivering quality wrestling, was pretty underwhelming as a TV show. Their first month consisted of War of the Worlds/Global Wars recaps, which isn't really a good way to build a new show for a bigger audience. They dropped the ball on this one.

What do you think? Is WWE going too far with their reaction to the Hogan issue? Let us know!
