The Grapevine (7/28/15): Welcome to the Family, Part 2

Good morning, everyone! Welcome to the Grapevine, and for those who need to catch up, here's today's round-up of the (technically unconfirmed) dirt and rumors from the cartoon world of pro wrestling that you may have missed from the day before.

Got some interesting rumors on the docket:

  • Could Adam Rose be the fourth member of the reformed Wyatt Family? We've reported on rumors that a new Superstar is joining the stable, and there were rumors that Adam Rose was going to be that guy. To fuel speculation, the Superstar Known In Real Life As Ray Leppan is tweeting old photos of himself as Leo Kruger, seemingly for no reason, like so:

We say: We... like this. We like this a lot. People have been advocating a return to Leo Kruger since the ESPN documentary on NXT aired, and it makes a hell of a lot more sense than Cody Rhodes dropping Stardust. We think Rose isn't yet a lost cause. Pull the trigger on this, WWE. If it isn't Bo, let it be Rose.

  • There is apparently a disconnect between Vince McMahon and his writers and producers. The creative team is being blamed for guys like Sheamus, Big Show, Kane, and Randy Orton not getting over with the fans, who prefer the younger, more exciting guys.

We say: We know exactly who to blame.

  • The WWE is thinking of offering PPVs to non-Network subscribers for only $4.99. The company sent out a survey to former subscribers asking if they'd take advantage of such a deal. Logistics are obviously not established yet. (Source: PWInsider)

We say: The WWE really wants to kill cable, huh? But this is actually good for consumers; now nobody has to feel bad about dropping $60 on a so-so PPV.

What do you think? Do you want to see Adam Rose be the new Wyatt Family member? If not, then who? WHO, WE ASK? Let us know in the comments!
