#WTFWednesday: Here Comes the Pain



For as brutal as it gets in the WWE, fans are usually far away and safe from the brutality that we see every week. Sure, wrestlers fight around the crowd sometimes (some of us here at the Smark Henry offices distinctly remember getting to high five Carlito when he was brawling near us at the WWFX show in 2012), but crew members and the wrestlers make sure that the audience is safe for the most part.

Well, for the most part, that is. Sometimes, things happen.




The latest episode of Monday Night RAW saw beast incarnate and resident asskicker Brock Lesnar destroy a Cadillac, the same car WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins gave to his minions  comrades from J&J Security. In particular, focus on that bit where Brock throws the door into the stands. Here's a view from a different angle:



Ouch. According to several wrestling sites, the kid who got hit was taken backstage where he got to meet some of the wrestlers, and given a bunch of merchandise as compensation for the unfortunate incident. He's fine now (or at least as fine as you can be after getting hit by a car door).
