WWE 2K16 is Now Officially On Some Soul Calibur Shit

In case you haven't seen it yet, WWE 2K16 has announced this year's pre-order exclusive:

Yes, that's right, no less than the Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is going to be featured as a playable character in the game. They announced the cameo with a brilliant recreation of that iconic Terminator scene, but with WWE superstars instead of the usual extras. Seriously, Dean Ambrose is absolutely perfect in his role as the guy who doesn't back down from the Terminator, with pool buddies Ryback and Finn B├ílor looking on. Tough Enough judges Paige and Daniel Bryan also feature in the trailer, and is that Eva Marie dry humping a jukebox?

Now, this is not the first time video games have featured outside characters as playable content. Soul Calibur has featured guys like Darth Vader and Link in its games, and even Mortal Kombat had the deadly Predator as exclusive content. Even WWE video games have done this before. Remember when Mike Tyson was announced as exclusive content for WWE '13? Or how about when Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst was available in the WWF Smackdown: Just Bring It! game, complete with Rollin' as his entrance theme? Arnold being this year's celebrity cameo isn't all too surprising, given his recent involvement with the WWE.

This is the kind of bonus content that may just push fans towards pre-ordering the game, as the chance to play as the Terminator leads to some hilarious fantasy booking scenarios. Imagine Ahnuld going one on one against a fellow "cyborg" in the Big Guy, Ryback (yeah, that used to be his thing). Or the Terminator coming out to Triple H's theme, in a weird reverse scenario of something that actually happened at WrestleMania this year. Heck, a lot of you will probably make the Undertaker vs. the Terminator, just so you can hear the Deadman tell his opponent to "rust in peace".

Ah, no, I've got it. Imagine the Terminator teaming up with Sting. And freaking Robocop.

Good times.

So yes, you know what to do if you're a fan of the Terminator. Get to the pre-order site!
