Swole For SummerSlam with Cesaro


While the rest of the Smark Henry offices are over at Skinny Mike's Sports Bar to live-blog NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn over the finest buffalo wings in Taguig, looks like the rest of the WWE main roster is in full battle prep mode for SummerSlam in less than 24 hours.

One Superstar who always amazes us with his work ethic at the gym is Cesaro. The Swiss Superman is probably neck-and-neck with John Cena for being the strongest man in the company, and this video shows us why.

You should totally check it out.



Remember these fighting words from Tito Cesaro, all you young boys out there:

"If you're not working out at the gym, someone out there is. And if he meets you, he'll beat you."

In a recent interview with FOX Sports, Cesaro revealed as well that his fitness routine doesn't mean eating bland. He may hail from Switzerland, but his diet is distinctly lucha-powered.

"There’s a place called Chipotle in the US, it’s Mexican food where everything is made to order; you can get some rice, black beans and meat," he shares. "That's what I eat three times a day."

So there you have it, fellow smarks. If you want to look like Cesaro, eat burritos.

BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF

“Be honest with yourself and don’t make excuses, which means you have to be accountable. Don’t eat bad food. Only eat good food. Don’t say, ‘Oh, it doesn’t matter if I ate bad once.’ No. You never eat bad, and you get in the habit of eating good.”


GET INTO HABITS


“Go to the gym every day and build a routine. You get in that routine and it takes about two months to build a habit or a routine. So you stick with it, and once you stick with it, then you have a good diet and a good routine.”


STICK TO BASICS


“You don’t have to worry about doing a bicep curl on a BOSU (exercise) ball while squatting down. You have to worry about doing basic manoeuvres.”


MASTER THE CORE LIFTS

“Keep things simple. Do squats, deadlifts and some kind of press. Base your routine around those lifts.”


HAVE FUN

“If these tips don’t sound like fun to you, then you’re probably not as motivated as you think you are to get in shape.”
