Lana Did Get Injured Over the Weekend

You might have heard rumors from other sites (those pesky other sites) about the Ravishing Russian, Lana, getting injured at a house show over the weekend. Unfortunately, those rumors are officially true—she sustained an injury to her wrist while practicing in the ring before the show started.

According to WWE physician Dr. Scott Amann, in a statement made to

"During a training session [Sunday] afternoon, Lana had sustained an injury in the ring. We attended to her and noticed that she had a deformity of her wrist. We obtained X-rays which showed a Colles' fracture and [we put her] in a splint. Most of these Colles' fractures do better surgically than non-surgically, especially in younger patients. Most likely this will require an operation, which will take her out of active competition for approximately four months."

The only funny thing about this is that everyone seems to be treating Lana as though she actually is in active competition. While she may be training to get in the ring now, she's still a valet that only gets involved in catfights. Surely she can still advance her current storyline in her condition.

In any case, we wish Lana a speedy recovery.
