The Grapevine (9/7/15): #NopeRedEverything

Good morning, everyone! Welcome to the Grapevine, where we round up the (technically unconfirmed) rumors from the wild world of pro wrestling that you may have missed over the weekend.

We don't really have a lot of good news to get your Monday off right, so let's just bite the bullet:

  • It looks like Eva Marie will eventually take the NXT Women's Championship off of Bayley. Bayley will feud with Dana Brooke and eventually Eva, and some officials really want to validate #AllRedEverything's in-ring improvement by giving her a title run. They seem to want a face run for Eva, using the championship win to create a story where she "proves her critics wrong through hard work." The title match could happen at NXT TakeOver: London in December. (Source: WON)

We say: No. NO. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. This is the wrongest thing they could do in NXT right now, and this doesn't look like Triple H has a hand in it. Bayley is so over and Eva is so green, that whatever audience that witnesses the title change could very well start a riot when it happens. Why can't we give it to Emma?

  • Cesaro could be working through a minor rib injury. His ribs were taped up for this week's SmackDown, and they were taped up at this weekend's live event. The culprit may have been the spot where Kevin Owens threw him to the announce table from the apron. (Source: WrestlingInc)

We say: Seems like Owens is behind a couple of risky spots this week. Let's hope there isn't any heat on him.

  • Former TNA Knockout Sarita was confirmed to have signed with the WWE. She'll finish up her last commitments in Mexico and Japan, starting with the WWE in November. In related news, Rich Swann coming to the WWE is all but confirmed as Revolution Pro in the UK has announced that Swann is no longer appearing on their upcoming shows. (Source: WrestlingInc)

We say: We've said all we've had to say about this news in the previous reports.

What do you think? Do you want Eva Marie anywhere near a title? Who should win it from Bayley? Let us know in the comments!
