WWE RAW Results (9/14/15)

In the historic season premiere of Monday Night RAW, Charlotte seeks to stop Nikki Bella from setting a Divas Title record. Plus, Sting wrestles on RAW for the very first time!

WWE COO Triple H and Stephanie McMahon welcomed everyone to RAW's season premiere. They hyped up everything that happened over the past year, then announced that Sting will take on The Big Show in his RAW debut!

Then out came The New Day for their title defense. (And HHH and Steph danced along with them!)

1. WWE Tag Team Championship: The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) (w/ Xavier Woods) defeated The Prime Time Players (Titus O'Neil and Darren Young) to retain their titles
- Kingston pinned O'Neil after a distraction by Woods and a New Day double-team
- As a result, The New Day will defend their titles against The Dudley Boyz at Night of Champions

Backstage, WWE World Champion and US Champion Seth Rollins checked in on HHH and Steph, who set up John Cena versus Sheamus for later. Then, somewhere else at the back, Renee Young checked in on Charlotte and his father Ric Flair in an interview.

2. Sasha Banks (w/ Naomi and Tamina) def. Paige (w/ Becky Lynch) via the Bank Statement

After the break, The Miz hosted MizTV with his guests, The Wyatt Family. Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns then gate-crashed the segment, but The Wyatts backed down.

3. John Cena def. Sheamus via the Attitude Adjustment

After the break, Intercontinental Champion Ryback was in the ring for a promo. But Kevin Owens interrupted him. Ryback announced that he talked to The Authority, which granted Ryback vs. Owens for the Intercontinental title at Night of Champions.

4. Neville (w/ The Lucha Dragons) vs. Stardust (w/ The Ascension) went to a no contest
- A brawl among all men ensued as soon as Neville brought out The Lucha Dragons as his back-up

5. WWE Divas Championship: Charlotte (w/ Ric Flair) def. Nikki Bella (w/ Brie Bella and Alicia Fox) via DQ
- The Bellas did some "twin magic" with Nikki switching with Brie on the final moments, and Charlotte actually pinning Brie
- Stephanie McMahon came out after the match and reversed the decision
- Nikki Bella retains her title, thus allowing her to surpass AJ Lee's record of being the longest-reigning Divas Champion by midnight
- But Steph announced that at Night of Champions, Nikki's title defense will have more at stake, as she can lose the title via pinfall, submission, count-out, or DQ!

6. Cesaro def. Rusev (w/ Summer Rae)
- Dolph Ziggler provided the distraction, as he talked to Summer Rae at ringside, costing Rusev the match; after the bout, Ziggler superkicked Rusev!
- Later, backstage, Summer Rae received a "gift" from Ziggler, as Rusev stormed to his locker room

7. Sting def. The Big Show via DQ
- Seth Rollins ran in to interfere; Cena then rushed for the save!
- After the match, HHH restarted the match as a tag team bout!

8. Sting and John Cena def. The Big Show and WWE World/US Champion Seth Rollins
- Sting forced Rollins to tap out to the Scorpion Deathlock
