Word Life (11/22/15): Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins Are More Alike Than You Think

Happy Sunday, Henrinites!

Survivor Series is just a few hours away, and while we wait for the annual Thanksgiving traditions, we at the Smark Henry offices look at two of our favorites: Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins, both of whom we miss so much that we couldn't stop thinking about how similar they are.

And at some point while we were wistfully thinking about Bryan and Rollins in the boiler room, we realized: Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins are more alike than you think.

They both had successful indy careers, with each man winning the ROH World Championship before moving on to WWE.

Yo, Vince. We're main eventing WrestleMania. Back-to-back.
Oh, and we'll be your NEW WWE World Heavyweight Champions. Back-to-back.
Both men are alumni of NXT, albeit in its different iterations.

Both men became tag team champions alongside the record holder of the most eliminations in the Royal Rumble match. Kane was the record holder at the time of Team Hell No's Tag Team Championship reign, while Roman Reigns would break the record during his Tag Team Championship run with the Architect.

Both men won their first world title in WWE via Money in the Bank cash-in.

Both men main-evented WrestleMania in back-to-back years. Both men had to compete in two matches the year they main-evented 'Mania. Both men had to face a member of Evolution in their earlier match.

Both men appeared in a triple threat match in the main event. Both men won the world title by getting the fall over the other contender (Batista in 2014, Roman Reigns in 2015). Both men relinquished the world championship that they won at WrestleMania due to injury.

We remember this moment all too well.
Aaaand this is what happened after Rollins vacated his title.
And the last bit of interesting trivia about how Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins are oh so similar?

Both men had their last successful world title defense against Kane.

Sinong may balat sa pwet? This guy.
We're just hours away from crowning a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion! Isang tulog na lang! Here's to hoping the new champ wins in a way that makes us want to see more, and let's all wish Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins a speedy recovery because the WWE just isn't the same without them.
