The Grapevine (12/2/15): The WWE Doesn't Know Why It's Failing

Good morning, everyone! Welcome to the Grapevine, where we round up the (technically unconfirmed) rumors from the wild world of pro wrestling that you may have missed over the evening.

We apologize for not having a Grapevine for the past couple of days (if you were missing it) but now we're back:

  • The WWE would very much like to know why they are losing viewers. They recently sent an e-mail survey out to their Fan Council, asking them about the current state of RAW and the specifics about their viewing habits. RAW has lost 25% of its viewers since June. (Source: PWInsider)

We say: So... if you still had doubts about whether Vince is ignoring you, IWC, here's your answer.

  • Lana and Rusev were apparently not told beforehand about the "going all the way" line from Ryback last night. It was in the script and Ryback was told to say it, but not the couple. (Source: Wrestling Observer Radio)

We say: Petty WWE is petty.

  • The recently-returned Tommy Dreamer is booked for most of December, probably up until TLC where he and the Dudleys may face the Wyatts. Dreamer was supposed to be part of TNA's India tour as a producer, but since that was moved to late next year, he's apparently free to perform in the WWE. (Source: WrestlingInc)

We say: Wait, that's strange. Is Dreamer a freelancer now like most old artistas who are able to jump between ABS-CBN and GMA at will?

What do you think? What's your personal reason for not enjoying RAW as much as you used to? Is the WWE out of line for how they treat Rusev and Lana? Are you excited to see Tommy Dreamer back? Let us know what you think in the comments!
