Black Friday: WWE Cuts Huge Wave of Superstars

We're afraid we've got some bad news.

The WWE unleashed a major wave of spring cleaning, quietly releasing a total of eight talents, including some popular former champions and cult favorites from its deep roster.

As of press time, the following had officially been cut:

  • Bad News Barrett
  • Damien Sandow
  • Alex Riley
  • Santino Marella
  • Cameron
  • Zeb Colter
  • Hornswoggle
  • El Torito

With all the prominent indie-scene hirings over the past year, as well as a thriving developmental program, speculation had been simmering over which members of the current roster would end up getting shoved out unceremoniously like losers in a round of newspaper dance.

Sadly, we now know the answer.

We'll update this list and provide full analysis as it expands, Henrinites, although we're hoping the carnage stops here.

Which release affects you the most? Do you feel any of these were unjustified? And where do you think each name will end up? Let us know in the comments below.
