Emma Suffers A Ruptured Disc



The injury curse strikes again.

This time, it's Emma, who suffered a back injury at a WWE live event on Sunday night. Her back injury turned out to be a ruptured disc on her spine. In an announcement earlier from WWE:

"Emma has a ruptured disc that will require her to have surgery," explained WWE ringside physician Dr. Chris Robinson. "She came to us in a great deal of pain, which seemed to be increasing. She was then given an M.R.I., which revealed that further action would need to be taken. Unfortunately, the Superstar's estimated recovery time cannot be determined until after her procedure is complete."

WWE is reporting that Emma's going to be out indefinitely because of this. As it stands, the Women's division has pretty much been decimated—both Bellas are gone, Naomi and Tamina are also down with injuries, Sasha Banks is nowhere to be found (also being rumored to be injured, but it could be something else), and now Emma.

It's now up to Women's Champion Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Paige, Natalya, and Dana Brooke (never thought we'd have to say that) to carry the division.
