The Grapevine (5/16/16): #LilianNotGone

Good morning, Henrinites, and welcome to your daily Grapevine! Here is where we round up all the rumors, news and bits of hearsay in the wild world of professional wrestling that you may have missed over the evening.

We have the final word on Lilian Garcia:

  • Lilian Garcia has not been released. She's taken some time off due to her father fighting bladder cancer, and the reason why the news broke was because many people within the company itself thought she was actually let go. Dave Meltzer heard from people who both believed she was gone and knew she was still with the company. (Source: F4WOnline)

We say: Now you heard the real deal, folks. The ironic thing is that there's still a chance she could be released, but we don't really think that's happening.

  • Some of the WWE injury returns may be coming on the week of June 8. Cena is already scheduled for the Memorial Day RAW on May 30, and it's possible that Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt follow him the week after. The plan is to use the buzz from Cena's return to create momentum for the others. (Source: PWInsider)

We say: We're already salivating at all the possible matchups that can happen. Can you imagine Cena/Styles, Rollins/Styles, Cena/Club, and all that stuff? We can't wait!

Let us know what you think of this week's news in the comments!
