WWE RAW Results (8/15/16): Finding the Demon

Monday night in Corpus Christi, it's the last RAW before SummerSlam! And boy was it jam-packed!

Finding the Demon

Seth Rollins was looking for "The Demon King" Finn Balor all night. And he got it!

Balor's demon version headed to the ring and it wasn't for long until he and Rollins traded punches! Balor stood tall, while his opponent for the inaugural Universal Championship sat outside the ring upset!

Pride and honor

US Champion Rusev's tantrums continued Monday as he attempted to hold RAW hostage until Roman Reigns apologizes for ruining his and Lana's wedding celebration last week.

GM Mick Foley and Commissioner Stephanie McMahon failed to calm Rusev down. Roman Reigns then came out to push Rusev's buttons some more. Then Foley made the call: Rusev and Reigns will fight that night, but not for the US Title. Instead, Rusev intends to fight for Lana's honor!

Later, Reigns was being interviewed backstage when Rusev attacked out of nowhere! Referees broke it up, but it set the tone for the match later!

Alas for Rusev, it was Reigns who stood triumphant after he got out of the Accolade and hit a Spear!

Slated for victory?

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman returned to RAW to proclaim yet again that Randy Orton doesn't stand a chance against the Beast at SummerSlam

But wait, free agent Heath Slater interrupted Heyman's speech... to ask for a match against Lesnar? For Slater's sake, Heyman tried to save him the trouble, but Slater attacked anyway.

Sadly, an F5 ended Slater's quest, while sending a message to Orton.

Chopping down a giant

Big Cass (w/ Enzo Amore) faced Kevin Owens one-on-one, but it didn't go well when Chris Jericho interfered.

Owens lost via DQ, but the Canadians had the last laugh when they continued the beatdown on Big Cass!

Lucky 7

The saga between Sheamus and Cesaro continued, when the Swiss Superman cost the Irish a victory against Sami Zayn, a payback after Sheamus did the same last week.

Foley then set up a Best of 7 Series between the two, and match #1 will be at SummerSlam

New Day roars

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows "haunted" WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day some more after injuring Big E last week. The New Day picked up a victory against The Dudley Boyz on RAW, then told Anderson and Gallows that they don't plan to lose the titles at the event they won it in a year ago.

Later in the night, The Club got a win of their own against the Golden Truth. After the match, the New Day emerged for an attack that sent Anderson and Gallows bailing!

Dana or Deins na?

Charlotte was still disappointed at Dana Brooke for failing her multiple times in the past weeks.

But, after Charlotte defeated Alicia Fox, Dana joined Charlotte's beatdown on Women's Champion Sasha Banks, who was at commentary during the match!

Playing each other

Darren Young and Titus O'Neil tried to set aside their differences and reunite as the Prime Time Players for one night only in a match against The Shining Stars.

But the tension between the two lingered, leading to Young receiving a Clash of the Titus and being pinned by Primo!

The rest of RAW

Neville defeated a returning Jinder Mahal.

Nia Jax defeated Rachel Levy to extend her mean streak.

It was announced that Jon Stewart will be a special guest at SummerSlam!
