The Grapevine (10/28/16): King of Full Sail Style

Good morning, and this is your daily Grapevine! This section of Smark Henry is where we round up all the founded and unfounded rumors abound the pro wrestling scene that you may have missed over the evening.

It's a slow Observer Friday:

  • Shinsuke Nakamura is not going anywhere for the time being. WWE wants him to be the new face of NXT similar to how Finn Balor was up until he was drafted this year. (Source: WON)

We say: That's fine and all, but sometimes we wish that he was on the show more. NXT's structured so that each storyline is featured in every other show, but it feels like Shinskay is an extra in his own kingdom. Joe's been around much more in his chase for the championship, and it's been really effective for him; we just wanna see the King knee more eyeballs in, like so:

  •  The Headbangers are returning to SmackDown Live next week to try and qualify for the Survivor Series tag team... Survivor Series match. The Attitude Era team, which made an appearance on the show a couple of months back in the SmackDown Tag Team Championship Tournament, announced their return on Twitter, busting open Rhyno the hard way.

We say: But why?

Let us know what you think of today's news in the comments!
