'Classical' Bryan Leo Fired From PWR

For those of you who don't know, you should know: two-time former Philippine Wrestling Revolution Champion "Classical" Bryan Leo has officially been released from the PWR roster.

The official PWR website made this shocking announcement earlier this evening, finally ending the months of speculation over the status of the erstwhile King of the Royal Flush after his unceremonious beatdown at the hands of his former stablemates.

The press release states:

"Philippine Wrestling Revolution would like to officially announce that 'Classical' Bryan Leo has been removed from his position as wrestler, board member and president of PWR.
His inability to perform as a leader, his unprofessionalism, and his ignorance to detail has not only inconvenienced the promotion but has also put the well-being of the people in the company at risk.
We wish him well in his future endeavours."

While it's often difficult to distinguish reality from fantasy in the make-believe world of pro wrestling, our sources from within the promotion confirm that this is, in fact, an authentic announcement, and is in no way a "work" of any kind—a statement further confirmed by a Facebook post made by PWR talent Rederick Mahaba.

With the company's public acknowledgement of Leo's behind-the-scenes role as PWR President over the past two years, astute wrestling fans can't help but connect the dots and wonder if on-screen General Manager Mr. Sy's scathing pipebomb at Renaissance bemoaning gross mismanagement of the company—with accusations ranging from delays in talent payment, botched event scheduling, and financial shenanigans—has any relation to the release of the Classical One.

We at Smark Henry would like to remember the now-former PWR talent for his positive contributions to reviving the Filipino pro wrestling scene, and for playing a key role in some of its most memorable moments, including the rise of Ralph Imabayashi as champion, and his long-running feud with the beloved "Senyorito," Jake De Leon.

What was your favorite Bryan Leo moment, Revo-Nation? And how do you think his official dismissal from PWR will affect the company long-term? Let us know your thoughts below!
