Huge Championship Rematch Announced For PWR Live: Bagong Yugto

You can hurt a Senyorito, but you can't keep him down for long.

Despite the Philippine Wrestling Wrestling Revolution's formal announcement last December that former PWR Champion Jake De Leon would be out of action indefinitely after suffering a concussion at the hands (and knee) of John Sebastian, the Bacolod-bred warrior has been medically cleared to compete at this January's PWR event.

That's right, Amigo Nation. Not only will JDL be making his return to a PWR ring, he'll be fighting to regain his lost championship at PWR Live: Bagong Yugto in Sebastian's first title defense.

This could be a historic night for De Leon. A victory over Sebastian would make him the first and only three-time champion in PWR's record books, and crown him the only man to both end a calendar year with a title loss but start the next year with a title win.

How do you feel about this sudden announcement, Revo-Nation? Do you think JDL is wise to be returning to active competition so soon after such a serious medical scare? How do you like the new champion's chances against such a hungry challenger?

Let us know in the comments, and we'll see you at Bagong Yugto!
