Fire Pro Wrestling Is Coming To Steam & PlayStation 4

The Fire Pro Wrestling series has always been a cult favorite among many wrestling fans over the years with its simple yet engaging gameplay and its being able to feature the image and likeness of many wrestlers around the world. And now, after many years, the popular franchise is coming back with Fire Pro Wrestling World, to be published by Spike Chunsoft (known today for publishing popular titles under the Zero Escape and Danganronpa franchises, among others).

Revealed during the 2017 Game Developers Conference, the latest update promised the ability for further customization on wrestler simulation, moves, rings, belts, and referees, as well as the ability to play online against other players around the world.

As of now, here's the full feature set as revealed on the publisher's Steam site:

The greatest grappling game returns to take on the world! Customize every aspect of the match, from your wrestler to the ring itself, in your fight for the championship belt.
PLAY ONLINE Organize exhibition matches, tournaments, leagues, championship bouts and battle royals with players from around the world.
MIX UP THE RULES Modes include Deathmatch (steel cage, barbed wire or landmines), MMA rules and no-holds barred Gruesome Fighting.
UNLIMITED CUSTOMIZATION Create your dream wrestler from over a thousand devastating moves and even more body parts to battle for custom championship belts. Personalize the ring, mat logos and even the referee.
REALISTIC SIMULATION Give your creations personalities with a robust CPU logic system that defines their every action. Does your wrestler play to the crowd, or play dirty? You provide actors for the ringside drama.
While it has online capabilities, you can also play locally with your friends for up to four players on the PS4 and eight players on PC (via Steam).

For now, the game will be made available to Steam as an Early Access title during Q2 2017, with no foreseeable official release date for the PS4 in the meantime.
