PWR Announces Next Live Event For 2017

What's better than Payback? Resbak, that's what.

With Philippine Wrestling Revolution fans still reeling from the fallout of last April's Wrevolution X, the country's leading wrestling promotion looks to keep the momentum going with its fifth show of 2017 just three weeks from now.

Entitled PWR Live: Resbak, it's scheduled for Sunday, May 28 at the Foton Showroom on Pasong Tamo Extension in Makati City.

We have no idea what the card will be looking like, but judging from the name, it should be centered on stables and partnerships.

This most likely means we'll be seeing the following storylines progressed:

  • With Chino Guinto's hotly-acclaimed PHX Championship win causing some severe belt envy on the part of James "Idol" Martinez, what's going to happen to The Network?
  • Ken Warren looks to be forming a new as-yet-unnamed alliance with brand new PWR Tag Team Champions Yohann and Logan Ollores of the YOLO Twins. Having played an integral role in the twins' controversial win, will the former PHX Champion be calling on their help to climb back to the championship scene?
  • The long-boiling feud between Mike Madrigal and Vlad Sinnsyk of the Deadly Sinns and Joey Bax and Miguel Rosales of Fighters 4 Hire is ready to explode. Will their scheduled All Out War be enough to settle the feud?

In addition, we're hoping for some big news on newly-anointed PWR Champion Chris Panzer's first challenge as king of the hill, as well as updates on the rapidly-deteriorating mental state of Ralph Imabayashi.
