The Grapevine (5/8/17): Minor Broken Updates

Good morning, and this is your daily Grapevine! This section of Smark Henry is where we round up all the founded and unfounded rumors abound the pro wrestling scene that you may have missed over the weekend.

Who else did the Hardys want to bring with them to WWE?

  • The Hardys wanted to bring Impact Wrestling announcer Jeremy Borash with them to WWE. JB apparently played a big part in putting together the Broken Hardys characters, but is unable to leave his job at Impact Wrestling, which involves being the lead announcer, as well as other side projects. On a related note, Matt also recently tweeted that Impact president Ed Nordholm is also keeping the Hardys from using the gimmick. (Source: Wrestling Inc)

We say: That would have been interesting, but we also didn't see much need for JB in the WWE.

  • Emma hurt her shoulder in a match yesterday. She looked to have seriously hurt herself, ending the six-man tag match she was in and requiring assistance to get to the back. Doctors are still checking her shoulder out to find out the severity of her injury. Emma had just returned from a long hiatus following another injury last year. (Source: Pro Wrestling Sheet)

We say: If it's bad, then it's highly unlucky for Emma, We're hoping for the best.
