#ThrowbackThursday: Birthday Brock's Greatest Hits

Belated happy birthday to the still-reigning, occasionally-defending, disputedly-undisputed WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar! The Beast may have barely escaped Great Balls of Fire with his title intact against Samoa Joe, but that's probably the best birthday gift he could have hoped for.

Ol' Blue Eyes just hit the big 4-0 on July 12, which automatically makes him the scariest 40-year-old most of us have ever seen. So to commemorate his big day, let's take a look back at some of his greatest hits of the past millennium.

Here Comes The Pain

Oh the humanity! Few rookies make as much of an instant impact as Brock did, and his introduction to the WWE Universe was nothing short of spectacular. The 24-year-old made his debut as Paul Heyman's protege, and promptly destroyed a whole slew of ECW alumni. Dear Kevin Owens, now that is a pop-up powerbomb.

From Hulking Up To Tapping Out

You can count on one hand the number of times Hulk Hogan has lost via submission, but nobody has humiliated the Hulkster the way Brock did in this iconic match-up. A decrepit Hogan may have been on his last legs as a useful wrestling talent, but the way Brock absolutely destroyed him was just painful to see.

The Deadman's Crimson Mask

In truth, if anyone had the right to call the WWE his yard, it would have been Brock Lesnar back in 2002 after he busted the Undertaker up big time in the match type made famous by the Deadman. This match did more to legitimize Lesnar than any other at this stage of his career, and led to the iconic visual of him standing victorious atop the cell.

Brock F5s A Shark

Campy, funny, and downright ridiculous. So what? In this memorable SummerSlam spot, we weren't thinking CG or special effects. We were all just like, "Yup, Brock could totally F5 a shark."

He was the 1 in 21-1, and we don't think we'll ever get over this milestone moment.

Kurt Angle's Push-Up Challenge

Brock and Kurt Angle have always had such awesome chemistry in the ring, but this light-hearted skit showed us the genuine magic between the two outside of it.

Shooting Star Brock

It's sad that Lesnar's most historic spot just so happens to be one of the worst WWE botches of all time. It's a miracle he managed to walk away from this trainwreck of a Shooting Star Press under his own power, let alone beat Angle for the title on the biggest stage of all.

Suplex City

People might say that current-generation Brock rarely wrestles these days like he gives a shit, but nobody can deny that this glorious squash of John Cena through a 16-suplex barrage was anything less than majestic.

Brock Finally Hits Puberty

Go ahead. Laugh. We dare you.
