EXCLUSIVE: SPW’s Onslaught Battles the #PWOGs at PWR Live: Beautiful

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! #NItPickRick here bringing you yet another straight-out-of-the-oven exclusive, and trust me, this one’s a doozy.

Fresh off from forming one of PWR’s hottest tag teams right now and defeating former tag champions the YOLO Twins, Jake de Leon and Ken Warren, affectionately known as the #PWOGs, are looking to take out yet another distinguished tag team. This time, they set their sights on Singapore’s top-tier tag team and OGs in their own rights: SPW Southeast Asia Champion Andruew Tang and former champion Trexxus, collectively known as Onslaught.

It makes sense for the #PWOGs to challenge Onslaught. After all, these four were part of the historic WWE tryouts in Shanghai two months ago. Add to the fact that Andruew Tang already stepped foot in a PWR ring once, it’ll be interesting to see how these four men have grown since then. While I’m hyped to see this match go down, it’s best to take notice of Trexxus. How will he fare in his first appearance at PWR Live: Beautiful

Considering Jake de Leon is set to face TJP at PWR Homecoming, is this part of his mission to take down the best of Southeast Asia one-by-one before ending his tour with the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion? That seems to be the case, no matter how you slice it. And with a capable partner by his side, JDL looks to dominate the local and international tag team scene, apparently. That doesn’t sound crazy at all.

But let’s not discount Onslaught that easily. Remember Andruew Tang’s dominating performance at PWR Vendetta 2018? In the first-ever Six-Way Survival match in PWR, he took out both Chris Panzer and Crystal at the same time with a second-rope Double Chokeslam. How’s that even possible? And with an equally capable partner in Trexxus, Onslaught will not take the #PWOGs’ challenge lying down. It’s anyone’s ballgame—it’s just a matter of who’s going down first. That’s how ballgames work, right?

#PWOGs vs. Onslaught is yet another compelling reason to #NeverMissAShow. So don’t you dare miss the next one, PWR Live: Beautiful, on September 22, 2019 at the 500 Shaw Events Pavilion in Mandaluyong City. And don’t forget, you heard it here first. Tell ‘em #NitPickRick sent ya.
