The Hourrr of Powerrr (11/26/19): Fallout Atlanta

So remember when I said the biggest test for post-Cornette Powerrr was whether the NWA would edit out every other terrible thing Cornette could've said for the rest of the season? Well, they did all that plus a little more—they completely nuked the rest of the season, period.

Well, not entirely. It seems like they discarded whatever was left before the PPV on December 14 and decided to just quickly tape one empty arena match. This week's Powerrr is full of interviews, recaps, and video packages, as well as one bizarre bout that pushes just the Question Mark. Joe Galli sticks around to do commentary, Dave Marquez also does his duties, but other than that, there's not much else going on here. It's both impressive and sad at the same time.

If you'd still like to watch it, here it is:

I'm not sure how they're going to play the remaining two weeks, but there was still time this week to do one last set of tapings without Cornette. It's the only play they've got unless they're really going to let the controversy derail any momentum they have going into December 14, which would be a shame—or they're going to go back to the rest of the episodes they taped with Cornette.

NWA Powerrr 11/26/19 Grade: It's hard to rate this one as it's clearly some sort of damage control episode, so I'll just say it's skippable.
